This video on CNN highlights research that suggests girl twins are influenced by boy twins in the womb. I'm not sure I buy their findings...Isabel is pretty girly.
But, she has been known to hit or bite now and then. Do you think Adam taught her that in the womb?

Hi there!
I read an article about rat fetuses in the womb a couple years ago. It was uber interesting. It claims that the female rats that were postitioned next to the male rats inutero turned out to be more aggressive and dominating than their other female syblings. Something about an overlap of male hormones like testosterone. I haven't followed your link yet, but I wonder if that is the same hypothesis about female/male twins. :o)

Ok, so I just followed your link and watched the video. And it looks like the same type of hypothesis as the rats. (that females are influenced biologically with male hormones inutero)
Do you find it odd that they're talking about how males influence females and not the other way around?
Sorry if I'm all up on you about this-gender differences is my specialty!
wow, very intersting. I personly like to think it has more to do with the enviroment you are raised in then what happens in urtero. lol. But, I also never went to college. Intersting though.

The b/g twins I knew in high school definitely followed this theory. She was very masculine, he was almost not as masculine as her. :) Also, interestingly, he was popular, she was not.
With my other twin niece and nephew, I'm not sure. It's hard to know because besides having a twin brother, her other siblings are all boys. So she's definitely not super feminine. She's just approaching the age where lots of girls start wearing makeup and she is definitely not interested. I wouldn't classify her as masculine though.
Interesting video. I'm not worried about Isabel OR Makenzie. :)
