I don't have any pictures ready yet - just wanted to say happy birthday to Isabel and Adam before the day is over. The kids were all over stimulated this weekend, but overall we had fun.
My TWO favorite things about Isabel as she turns two:
- Every night she chooses whether she wants Mommy or Daddy to put her to bed. She's pretty fair and doesn't choose one of us more than the other. Adam just has to deal with her decision and take the leftover.
- She could drive me crazy saying Mommy 100 times while asking for something, but she makes up for it with a cute, polite, "Thank you Mommy" after she gets it.
My TWO favorite things about Adam as he turns two:
- He can make a train out of anything. Lined up cars, bites of a peanut butter sandwich, kids lined up holding on to each others backs, etc.
- He's great at ignoring you if he's focused on the task at hand. Then, when he decides to pay attention to what you've asked him to do, he'll say, "why?"

Happy Birthday kiddos. I remember that day pretty well, with frantic phone calls from Steph, her speeding all the way to hospital, and meeting A&I at the hospital, then picking up Benny that afternoon at the airport. Good times! :)

I love your post...and I can't believe they are 2 already. It is crazy how fast time goes by.
Your kids are super cute - it's funny to read the differences between the boys & girls. Seems I'll be learning that on my own soon.
