Summer Foliage

In the midst of 100 degree summer temperatures, a tree in the backyard decided to drop all of its leaves in the past week. The kids enjoyed helping Grandpa "clean them up," and John captured some fun pictures.

Summer Visitors

We had lots of fun when Kevin, Sabrina and Kaleb came to visit, and we went to Corona del Mar for a picnic. It was beautiful, except for the long trek down 112 stairs to the dirty public beach bathroom since both Anna and Isabel (who is doing great at potty training) had to go.





We'll see you guys again in Utah in a week!

Happy Adam

This picture is a little old but I haven't blogged in a while - and the kids are surpassing the two hour mark on all three of them being asleep. When three kids sleep for two hours I think you are obligated to blog something.

Wild Animals

We used our zoo passes for the first time on Friday - at the Wild Animal Park. It was fun, but hot!

Say No To Pacifiers

Just thought I would update on the boring saga of the pacifiers. I finally took them away late last week. We made a big deal out of putting them outside for the pacifier fairy, and Adam and Isabel (and Anna, not to be left out) got presents in return. Now they get to sleep with pillows and a stuffed animal.

It went very well, not a single peep the first night. Naptime has been another story. Each day has been touch and go, sometimes napping, sometimes not, sometimes taking a very long time to fall asleep. But we'll get there.

Baby Kaleb is coming to visit today, which we are very excited about. But I think he takes a pacifier, so I'm just hoping the twins don't steal it and revert back to their old ways.
