I know it's been a very long time, too long I know! But Ben, I've been thinking about you too, and like Alison, you are one of the smartest guys I know as well! I will be in Riverside for the Thanksgiving long weekend and would love to come up and see the babies! Email me or call me.
Hi Ben,
Sorry to hear the news, but often the things we want the most are the hardest to get. If this is something you really want, try again. You have the rest of your life to work, and it is important you do what you are passionate about. Otherwise, thiry to forty years of doing something you don't really care to do is a form of torture. I guess I have some wisdom on the subject having just turned 50 this year and having been in the working world 25 years.
Good luck on the next try.
